Every Student Succeeds Act Complaint Procedures:
Lift For Life Academy accepts federal dollars and is required to post complaint procedures under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). If you would like to submit a comment or complaint concerning the Academy’s federal programs and/or use of federal dollars, then please contact the staff member below. Complaints not related to the administration of federal programs at LFLA should be directed to the building principal or the appropriate departmental leader/contact person. Information regarding this procedure and additional federal compliance documents can be found in the 2021-22  Student & Family Handbook.

McKinney – Vento Homeless Education Assistance

The McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act, part of Every Student Succeeds Act, guarantees homeless students and families access to an education equal to if they were not homeless.
 
This act has rules that govern school attendance, enrollment, and transportation. For additional information, students and parents are encouraged to contact Lift for Life Academy Homeless Coordinator, Dr. Katrice Noble, at 314-231-2337.
