We are back for the 2023-2024 academic year! I hope you are ready for the learning experiences we will embark upon this school year! Looking towards the new school year, all students will have the opportunity to meet their full potential; as a school community, that is our charge. We are facing challenges head-on and reaching personal & professional goals.
Our teachers are ready to think outside the box to provide top-tier encounters with all subject areas. Last year, our students visited the Challenger Learning Center, where they engaged in space missions and created rockets. Teachers have the freedom to facilitate learning experiences to enhance what is taught in classrooms. Ms. Jackson, the Coordinator of School Culture and Student Affairs, planned multiple incentive opportunities that reinforced high behavioral and academic expectations for all. Ms. Johnson, the Student Support Specialist, worked with students to self-regulate their emotions when they get frustrated. She also invited outside vendors to expose our school community to small, black-owned businesses, in an effort to spark their entrepreneurship spirit. Here at the middle school, we are all about educating the whole child.
Middle school is a critical time for the development of young adults and families alike, and the dedicated staff of Lift For Life Middle School looks forward to working with all of you to make this year successful. As we embark on the new phase of our educational journey, I invite you to help your children develop the skills needed to be world citizens and change-makers.
