Dear Lift For Life Staff, Students, Families, and Community,
I am very excited and honored to be joining the Lift For Life Academy family as the Elementary Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Just over 7 years ago, I joined the Lift For Life Academy District as a paraprofessional after making a career shift from the fitness industry. During those seven years, I have grown both personally and professionally which has solidified my beliefs regarding education. Our district has many goals, but they can all be achieved when leaders, teachers, students, families, and community members are committed to excellence and collaboration every single day.As a Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Coach, and former middle and elementary teacher, I have worked diligently to stay committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure students strive both academically and socially-emotionally. Working together, I believe that we can ensure that every child receives a high quality education and provide them with the tools and strategies necessary for success. Over the last 3 years, I have coached teachers and provided them with tools, strategies, and resources that support student success in all areas of their lives. This belief will drive the work that I will continue to do at Lift For Life Academy as a principal. I understand the school culture and I know how to build authentic relationships with students, families, staff and community members. It takes a village to raise the next generation, and in partnership with you, we will grow and thrive together.
I believe my willingness to strive for excellence, ability to persevere through challenges, and the love I already have for my community makes me an excellent role model for all students. I have truly appreciated all of the opportunities that Lift For Life Academy has given me to grow, thrive, and improve as an educator. I hope to continue to listen, learn, and lead in new ways with my community as the Principal of Lift For Life Academy Elementary School.
