Senior Asher Yisrael wins Governor's Essay Contest

Asher won the annual Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) essay contest sponsored by Governor Parson and First Lady, Teresa. Each school that has a JAG program is able to participate in the contest and one student's essay from each school is chosen and honored during a reception at the Governor's mansion.

The topic of the essay this year was "What do you wish all Missourians knew about JAG?" Asher wrote his essay as a poem and it stood out to the Director of JAG. So Asher had the honor of presenting the book of all the winning essays to the First Lady at the reception.
