You know you’ve picked a winner when you post it on Facebook and reach over 24,000 people with comments such as “she is amazing and a blessing to all she encounters” and “y’all got a good one! Congrats Dr. Leathers.” And, Dr. Leathers had heard glowing remarks about LFLA from her cousin who graduated from here a couple years ago. So when the position opened up, she was quick to apply.
“It takes a village to raise a child,” expressed Leathers and “I’m excited to enhance the family-oriented culture that already exists.” Her goals for the coming year are for teachers and students to own, know and reflect on the data that emerges from the classroom.
