Lift For Life Academy’s Deputy Director, Dr. Katrice Noble was recently featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The story highlights her quest to locate the 7th grade teacher who left an impact on her educational life and the numerous young minds that she has touched as a teacher and administrators.
We are so lucky to have Dr. Noble leading our educational team at LFLA. She is as inspirational as she is professional, and is highly regarded by both students and teachers alike.
A few days after the original article was published, support from the community was voiced in a letter to the editor. Dale K. Pugh from Florissant said, “We need more people like Katrice and her mentor, Molly Peavy. I say put those two in charge of our city or state. The real answer to breaking the cycle of poverty, violence, substance abuse and dysfunction is found in folks like Molly and Katrice. I have met several students and faculty from Lift for Life Academy, where Katrice is working. They were all wonderful.”
We thank Mr. Pugh for his kind words. It is truly a reminder that while we do good work every day within the walls of LFLA, we are nothing without the amazing support of our community.
