As a school, we have a responsibility to create and maintain a healthy and safe environment for students to thrive, foster empathy and kindness. Lift For Life Academy, a charter public school is a diverse playing ground where our children learn acceptance and belonging.

Our classrooms serve as a gathering place for much more than education – they are places where students grow to recognize, understand and appreciate one another’s differences. We continue our commitment to help our students learn about our country’s long and continuing struggle to live out our ideals of liberty and justice for all.

The tragic death of George Floyd leaves us with a clear affirmation – we are committed to making our school a safe and welcoming place. Our schools have policies and practices in place to make sure that everyone in our communities have the opportunity to learn and work in an environment where they are treated with dignity and respect, free from bullying or harassment.

Lift For Life Academy does not discriminate on the basis of color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, veteran status or disability.

To all our African American and Black students and staff: You matter. Black Lives Matter. We see you, and we support you.

“There is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
