Dear Lift For Life Academy Family,

We are proud of our students at Lift For Life Academy. Every day, these young scholars come to school,  and thanks to your support, we’re able to ensure that they have the resources and programs necessary to be excited about learning and planning for their futures. Each morning, we make sure students have a healthy breakfast and are ready to explore their academic potential in the classroom. If any issues becomes barriers to our students’ education, our staff makes sure their needs are addressed so we can focus on what is important: educating, empowering and uplifting the future of our community.

LFLA is more than a school. We are a family. Through programs like leadership training, community mentorships, after-school athletics and unique career classes in fashion design and engineering, we help students find their passion and work toward making a difference.  Ultimately, we want students to succeed, and you – our supporters, volunteers and parents – are the key to their success.

Many students come to us years behind in reading and math, qualifying for free/reduced lunches and struggling to stay afloat in a classroom environment. YOU have helped provide the foundation for our students to evolve from these circumstances and flourish. Thank you for helping us ensure that our teaching staff is highly-qualified and that our student teacher ratio is kept at 12:1. Thank you for helping us maintain a 94% graduation rate. Thank you for helping us place 85% of our graduating seniors in colleges, universities, trade schools and/or the military. All of this is possible through your support. We are excited for what the future holds for the LFLA family, and we are glad that you’re along for the ride.

With Gratitude,

Marshall Cohen – Executive Director & Co-founder
